hi there, i have a peugeot 505 sr 1985 model 3 speed automatic gear and have thia annoying from in that sometimes when i come to a halt suddenly the engine just dies, it also happens when i try to move with the wheels turned to one side, someone told me its a carbureter problem.

Hi my name is Kosi, I had a problem with my manual carburettor and on my 405 GL and the mechanic is trying to replace it with an automatic one. However, it is my feeling that it can't just be replaced without some precautions, e.g. what happens to the coolant area, how do i connect the chokes (from where, do ic onnect them at all?). The car just keeps on jerking continuously. Hope you can send me the manual. Thanks.

I have a 72 Citroen D Special that has a Solex carb, but not the one that origially was fitted. I'm looking for an exploded diagram. The only identifiers I cna see is a "4" and the BTE. S.G.D.G. and D.R.R.PAT. But I have no idea of the model - I can send you photos, though. Thanks.
